CHRISTMAS – A TIME FOR FORGIVENESS, TRUST AND LOVE
By Robin Leigh Morgan
I’d won a signed copy this book as part of a giveaway offered by Patty Blount and as I always do when I receive such a book I give my honest opinion for it. In this case it’s the novella she’d written for this anthology.

I found the other three novellas written by other authors to be quite endearing, with each one telling a tale which only could have taken place in one of the best cities for the Christmas holidays, New York. Memories of a love from years ago, trust, forgiveness, a rekindled affair are all elements which went into these three stories. There’s an entire spectrum of emotions in these pages, emotions which pull you in as you can almost sense what the characters are going through.

As for the novella written by Ms. Blount there is a definite kismet which has taken place between the two main characters, Elena Larsen and Lucas Adair. They paths had cross several years before at the yearly remembrance which is held for families of those that had perish on 9/11. Both share the loss of their mothers and all the memories which go along with it. While Lucas has gotten over the grief for the most part with all the volunteering he’s done, Elena still carries it with her and hasn’t allowed herself to trust others even the one she’s close to and loves. These two almost share a past surrounding a crystal snowflake. With Christmas being the season of love and hope, can these two individuals connect with each other and start a relationship.

I truly loved what each of these four stories which is why I’m giving Ms. Blount and the other three authors 5 STARS for the endeavors they’ve written here.

Must reads this holiday season!

This Christmas by Jeannie Moon
Yesterday I sat down to start this book and never stopped until I had finished! I'm a huge fan of the Second Chance at Love trope and Jeannie delivers on all points with this book. She tugs at your heart as you learn the story of Jake and Bree. You want to keep reading, hoping that yes these two can work through the obstacles in front of them. There's never a doubt that they still love each other, you feel that from the start. Then there is sweet Charlie aka Charlotte. Most of all you are rooting for Charlie! I love holiday romances and this was a great way to start The New York Holiday series!

A Light in the Window by Jolyse Barnett
Jade and Ben, once the closest of friends. Growing up together they shared all their secrets. Then one day that changes. Years later Jade returns home during the holidays. Ben knows what he wants but will Jade fight the attraction because of a hurtful mistake at 14. . Heartwarming story of a second chance at love. Great Holiday read!

All I Want for Christmas by Jennifer Gracen
I loved this book! Years before Cassandra and Sean were in love. Sean thinking he knows what best and because he loves Cassie so much decides to break it off. Years later with out knowing Cassie enters a bar that Sean owns. They see each other but does love get rekindled. The angst was there the sensuality was Hot. Must read for the holidays!

Goodness and Light by Patty Blount
This book can be read as a stand alone book. But I urge you all to read the 4 books of the "Christmas in New York" Series Starting with Jeannie Moon's "This Christmas" and finishing with Patty Blount's "Goodness and Light" As I said I have read the other three (3) books in this series, this book really touched me. It took hold of my heart and held it to the very last word! Luke and Elena, two people sharing the the same memories and devastation of September 11 2001. Two very young people a chance encounter years earlier at a Yearly Remembrance Event. Little do they know that many years later that event will play such important part in their lives. Trust, Forgiveness and Love all emotions dealt with but not in the way we as readers think will happen when we read a "Romance Novel". A perfect book book for the holiday season! This book is one I know I will read over and over again. Just a little request for the author, Kara needs her story. I feel another Holiday romance coming on next year :)

Highly recommended!
By Kimberly V
This anthology contains four of the best Christmas stories I have read this year. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and above all, you'll be delighted and happily entertained. Listed below are my reviews of the Kindle versions of the stories.

A decade ago, Jake Killen, the love of Sabrina Gervais' life, left her for another woman. Shortly thereafter, Sabrina discovered she was pregnant, but decided never to let him know. Now, work has brought Jake back to New York. When he encounters Sabrina and her nine-year-old daughter, Charlotte, he instantly realizes that he is the girl's father. Now, he not only wants to be a part of Charlotte's life, but a part of Sabrina's as well. But Jake took Sabrina's heart with him when he left the first time and she can't risk losing anything more. This Christmas by Jeannie Moon is one of four independent but interrelated novellas in Tule Publishing's Christmas In New York series. It is a nice, little story in which love prevails and wishes come true. Reading it put a smile on my face. The story does contain a couple of spicy scenes.

Cassandra Baines and her friend are out for a night on the town in New York City. Being that it is a cold night, they decide to duck into the first place that looks decent. Little do they know, they've just walked into the one bar that is co-owned by Cassandra's ex-fiance, Sean McKinnon. Cassandra last saw Sean seven years ago when he left her for reasons he never fully disclosed. Now, he wants her back and he will do whatever it takes. All I Want For Christmas by Jennifer Gracen is one of four independent but interrelated novellas in the Christmas In New York series. With his lilting Irish brogue and his sparkling deep blue eyes, I couldn't help but fall in love with Sean myself. Delightfully enjoyable and pleasantly tame, this is the first work I've read of Ms. Gracen's, but it certainly won't be the last. A must read for me!

Having just quit her job and her relationship, Jade Engel is moving back home to New York to map out a new future. When a snowstorm forces her to stop along the way, she chances upon Benji Stephens, a boy from her past. No longer the young boy she publicly humiliated in eighth grade, Benji is now a fully grown, fiercely handsome man. Figuring she can't fully move forward until fixing her past, she apologizes. But when her simple apology reignites old feelings, Jade's future becomes more uncertain than ever. A Light In the Window by Jolyse Barnett is one of four independent but interconnected novellas in the Christmas In New York series. Slightly spicy, this former friends to lovers story makes for a very fun, Christmas-themed read.

For the first time since losing her mother in the attack on the World Trade Center, Elena Larsen has returned to New York City. Upon arriving, she encounters Lucas Adair, who also lost his mother on that fateful day. As far as Elena knows, she has never met Lucas before; yet, there is something remarkably familiar about him. As Lucas and Elena continue to randomly come into contact with one other, it is up to them to decide if it is mere coincidence or fate. Goodness And Light by Patty Blount is an absolutely wonderful new novella in the Christmas In New York series. There is nothing gloomy about this inspirational story of destiny and finding the silver lining in loss. With its beautiful sentiment of love and hope, it is the perfect holiday read. Aptly titled, it is filled all of the goodness and light of the holiday season. I highly recommend it!

Engineering and Chemical Thermodynamics, by Milo D. Koretsky

Chemical engineers face the challenge of learning the difficult concept and application of entropy and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. By following a visual approach and offering qualitative discussions of the role of molecular interactions, Koretsky helps them understand and visualize thermodynamics. Highlighted examples show how the material is applied in the real world. Expanded coverage includes biological content and examples, the Equation of State approach for both liquid and vapor phases in VLE, and the practical side of the 2nd Law. Engineers will then be able to use this resource as the basis for more advanced concepts.

Review
I've taught thermo dozens of times out of four textbooks. Koretsky is the book that the students have appreciated the most and with enthusiasm. I'm very excited about the much clearer grasp of the concepts the students have obtained with this book this semester. The writing is very informative and clear, the choice of topics is perfect and the examples are wonderful. Futhermore, the sophistication of the topics is also at a high level, but is approachable for the students, as the concepts are explained so well. Thanks for making thermodynamics so accessible for students!

First edition, but oh well
By Tom_E
This text is good for exactly what it claims: the undergraduate. If you're looking for a good general text on thermodynamics that you can use throughout your career (even as a graduate student), this is NOT it. But if you're looking for an easy-to-approach and helpful book that spoon-feeds you the (admitedly difficult the first time) concepts of thermodynamics, this is the text for you. Koretsky himself is upfront about this in the preface. There are a lot of funny errors in this printing (look in the front cover to see that the units for gravitational acceleration are m^2/s and that a m^3 is only 10^-3 L. That would be a LOT of Coke). But hey, even BS&L (the hailed transport phenomena text of chemical engineering) is full of them (if you don't believe me, check out the correngia on Bird's website at U of W). The charts in the back are somewhat complicated to use, at least a lot more than my favorite textbook of all time, Felder and Rosseau's Introduction to Chemical Engineering. In conclusion, good for the confused and undergraduate, of little value to the graduate and practicing.

Great Text. A Realistic Read.
By Avery A Rose
I received my B.S. in chemical engineering (2005) at OSU and studied this text, in part, under Dr. Koretsky. The text was split into two undergraduate courses. I recently entered a PhD program at Texas A&M and reviewed almost the entire text in preparation for the qualifier. The text information was more than sufficient to pass the thermodynamics portion of the test at Texas A&M.

In reviewing some of the other comments, I noticed that there is an indication that the primary problem is a lack of detail. I believe this text has more than enough detail for 99.9% of thermodynamics students. If you know the material in this text, you will have the required thermodynamics background for most graduate courses in chemical engineering. Additionally, you will be ahead of most other graduate students.

I believe the text is excellent because it is clear and practical. It covers, what appears to me, to be the important topics in a clear way. It can be realistically reviewed in its entirety in two undergraduate courses, plus maybe a couple of self study weeks afterward. I reviewed nearly the entire book in about 1 month during the summer before starting graduate school.

Great book!
By G. Bolanos
This is a very nice book for undergraduate thernodynamics. I decided to use it for teaching this class for sophomores. The material es very well presented and developed, with lots of examples. The set of problems at the end of each chapter is also interesting. Definitely a good purchase.

Amazon.com Review

Amazon Best Books of the Month, March 2011: Moonwalking with Einstein follows Joshua Foer's compelling journey as a participant in the U.S. Memory Championship. As a science journalist covering the competition, Foer became captivated by the secrets of the competitors, like how the current world memory champion, Ben Pridmore, could memorize the exact order of 1,528 digits in an hour. He met with individuals whose memories are truly unique—from one man whose memory only extends back to his most recent thought, to another who can memorize complex mathematical formulas without knowing any math. Brains remember visual imagery but have a harder time with other information, like lists, and so with the help of experts, Foer learned how to transform the kinds of memories he forgot into the kind his brain remembered naturally. The techniques he mastered made it easier to remember information, and Foer's story demonstrates that the tricks of the masters are accessible to anyone.
--Miriam Landis

Author Q&A with Joshua Foer

Q: First, can you explain the title of you book, Moonwalking with Einstein?

A: The title refers to a memory device I used in the US Memory Championship—specifically it's a mnemonic that helped me memorize a deck of playing cards. Moonwalking with Einstein works as a mnemonic because it's such a goofy image. Things that are weird or colorful are the most memorable. If you try to picture Albert Einstein sliding backwards across a dance floor wearing penny loafers and a diamond glove, that's pretty much unforgettable.

Q: What are the U.S. Memory Championships? How did you become involved?

A: The U.S. Memory Championship is a rather bizarre contest held each spring in New York City, in which people get together to see who can remember the most names of strangers, the most lines of poetry, the most random digits. I went to the event as a science journalist, to cover what I assumed would be the Super Bowl of savants. But when I talked to the competitors, they told me something really interesting. They weren't savants. And they didn't have photographic memories. Rather, they'd trained their memories using ancient techniques. They said anyone could do it. I was skeptical. Frankly, I didn't believe them. I said, well, if anyone can do it, could you teach me? A guy named Ed Cooke, who has one of the best trained memories in the world, took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew about memory techniques. A year later I came back to the contest, this time to try and compete, as a sort of exercise in participatory journalism. I was curious simply to see how well I'd do, but I ended up winning the contest. That really wasn't supposed to happen.

Q: What was the most surprising thing you found out about yourself competing in the Memory Championships?

A: In the process of studying these techniques, I learned something remarkable: that there's far more potential in our minds than we often give them credit for. I'm not just talking about the fact that it's possible to memorize lots of information using memory techniques. I'm talking about a lesson that is more general, and in a way much bigger: that it's possible, with training and hard work, to teach oneself to do something that might seem really difficult.

Q: Can you explain the "OK Plateau?"

A: The OK Plateau is that place we all get to where we just stop getting better at something. Take typing, for example. You might type and type and type all day long, but once you reach a certain level, you just never get appreciably faster at it. That's because it's become automatic. You've moved it to the back of your mind's filing cabinet. If you want to become a faster typer, it's possible, of course. But you've got to bring the task back under your conscious control. You've got to push yourself past where you're comfortable. You have to watch yourself fail and learn from your mistakes. That's the way to get better at anything. And it's how I improved my memory.

Q: What do you mean by saying there an "art" to memory?

A: The "art of memory" refers to a set of techniques that were invented in ancient Greece. These are the same techniques that Cicero used to memorize his speeches, and that medieval scholars used to memorize entire books. The "art" is in creating imagery in your mind that is so unusual, so colorful, so unlike anything you've ever seen before that it's unlikely to be forgotten. That's why mnemonists like to say that their skills are as much about creativity as memory.

Q: How do you think technology has affected how and what we remember?

A: Once upon a time people invested in their memories, they cultivated them. They studiously furnished their minds. They remembered. Today, of course, we've got books, and computers and smart phones to hold our memories for us. We've outsourced our memories to external devices. The result is that we no longer trust our memories. We see every small forgotten thing as evidence that they're failing us altogether. We've forgotten how to remember.

Q: What is the connection between memory and our sense of time?

A: As we get older, life seems to fly by faster and faster. That's because we structure our experience of time around memories. We remember events in relation to other events. But as we get older, and our experiences become less unique, our memories can blend together. If yesterday's lunch is indistinguishable from the one you ate the day before, it'll end up being forgotten. That's why it's so hard to remember meals. In the same way, if you're not doing things that are unique and different and memorable, this year can come to resemble the last, and end up being just as forgettable as yesterday's lunch. That's why it's so important to pack your life with interesting experiences that make your life memorable, and provide a texture to the passage of time.

Q: How is your memory now?

A: Ironically, not much better than when I started this whole journey. The techniques I learned, and used in the memory contest, are great for remembering structured information like shopping lists or phone numbers, but they don't improve any sort of underlying, generalizable memory ability. Unfortunately, I still misplace my car keys.

From Booklist
If you sometimes can't remember where you put your car keys or, like Foer, the car itself, don't panic. You're not alone, and you can do something about it. In this intriguing look at the nature of memory, Foer reassures us that we don't need to acquire a better memory; we just need to use the one we have more effectively. Foer introduces us to people whose memories are both astonishing, like the man who could memorize 1,528 random digits in order, and frightening, such as a man with such an extreme case of amnesia that he doesn't know his own age and can't remember that he has a memory problem. He explores various ways in which we test our memories, such as the extensive training British cabbies must undergo. He also discusses ways we can train ourselves to have better memories, like the PAO system, in which, for example, every card in a deck is associated with an image of a specific person, action, or object. An engaging, informative, and for the forgetful, encouraging book. --David Pitt

Review
"Absolutely phenomenal... Part of the beauty of this book is that it makes clear how memory and understanding are not two different things. Building up the ability to reason and the ability to retain information go hand in hand... The book reminds us that we all start off with pretty much the same tools for the most part, and we can be intentional about strengthening them, or not."

Amazingly Interesting and Helpful
By David Sheppard
This is one of those rare books that is not only a joy to read, but also immensely helpful. It can help all of us with something that is at once troublesome and worrisome: our memory. It does this with ease, not teaching us some grueling rote memory technique, but one that is easy, natural and intuitive. Yet Moonwalking with Einstein turns out to not be exclusively a how-to book on memory. So what is it?

Well, yes, it is about memory and how to improve it, but it is at once a history of techniques, a description of what memory is and what can go wrong with it, and also a running narrative of how the author, a journalist himself with no special memory skills, becomes one of the most proficient memory athletes in America.

I'd learned a mnemonic device to aid memorization decades ago while in college, and found it to be helpful, but for some reason I'd abandoned the technique once I graduated. But Moonwalking with Einstein expands the mnemonic technique I learned back then by use of something of which I'd never heard: the "Memory Palace." The Memory Palace exploits our inherent skill for remembering images and spatial locations, harnesses these two abilities we all posses in abundance, and relates them to the memorization of numbers, lists and assortments of other difficult to remember items. The amazing thing is that the Memory Palace not only makes memorization easy, it also makes it fun.

What makes the book so interesting is that it is narrative non-fiction and reads like a novel. The author locks his conflict with his own memory early on, gives a sense of rising tension as he accumulates the forces to overcome its limitations, and resolves this internal conflict at the end when he participates in the US Memory Championship. I didn't read it as urgently as I did today's number one bestseller, Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken, but still, I couldn't put it down.

In Chapter Five, I scanned the "to-do" list of fifteen items on pages 92/3 that the author had to memorize in his initial attempt, and developed the technique for myself as I read about the author memorizing it. As my Memory Palace, I used an old home of a high school friend with which I was still familiar, constructing useful details as I went. When I had finished reading about the author memorizing the list (took me about five minutes), I had memorized it myself, and I found that the items were not only immediately memorable, but that the list of items and their sequence was still with me days later, and so imbedded in my memory that I'm sure I'll ever forget it. All this, I accomplished effortlessly. This is a truly remarkable feat for me because I'm almost seventy years old and have chronic fatigue syndrome, which adversely affects all aspects of my memory.

It has also given me hope that I might finally learn ancient Greek. I tried to learn it several years ago, but found building a vocabulary so difficult that I abandoned the project. Rote memory was just too much trouble. I am interested in all things Greek, and as it turns out, the Memory Palace technique was invented in the fifth century BC by Simonides following his narrow escape from the collapse of a building. This in itself is a story you'll be interested in reading about. The author says that since the time of this ancient Greek, "the art of memory has been about creating architectural spaces in the imagination." Having been to Greece twice, I have all the makings of a superb Greek Memory Palace. While traveling around Greece and the western coast of Turkey for ten weeks, I visited many cities and islands: Athens, Thebes, Delphi, Ithaca, Mykonos, Delos, Santorini, etc. I can't count all the archaeological sites I visited. What I'm creating isn't just any old Memory Palace but actually a Memory Country. Within each location, I can identify as many locations for storing words and meanings as I need. But not only that, I can also use characters from Greek mythology to create actions and images to reinforce the material, as the author suggests. All this constitutes my Greek Memory Palace: the location where I will store ancient Greek words and meanings as I learn the language, in accordance with the instructions learned in Moonwalking with Einstein. None of it was difficult. I picked it up as I read the book.

The author describes how in the past people viewed their minds as something to perfect by loading it with all sorts of intellectual material. "People used to labor to furnish their minds. They invested in the acquisition of memories the same way we invest in the acquisition of things." [page 134] Some even believed that "the art of memory was a secret key to unlocking the occult structure of the universe." [page 151] This has given me an entirely new view of how to perceive my own mind and nourish it in the future.

The author also discusses how we came to lose touch with our ability to remember with the invention of the printed word. The history of that estrangement and how inventions like Wikipedia and the Internet foster that estrangement is a very interesting story. The author makes the reader aware of what is happening to us and provides a way to project ourselves into the future without suffering so much of technology's debilitating effects.

Perhaps the reason this book is so successful is that the reader never loses sight of the practical use of the information the author is providing because the author is discovering it himself and actively making use of it in his quest to make it into the US Memory Championship.

This is an important book. Everyone can benefit from reading it.

Now THIS is the kind of "self help" book that this Baby Boomer appreciated!
By Kcorn
Whether you have memory problems (can't recall the name of someone you met a week ago?) or not, you're likely to improve your memory after reading this book. Even if you don't - but odds are you will - it makes for fascinating reading.

It definitely was a major aid for me and I do think of it as a unique "self help" book, one that can have immediate results, helping to make life easier, alleviate tricky memory issues and more. I think it is important to disclose that I'm a Baby Boomer and my memory seems to have worsened with age. I used to recall the name of nearly everyone I met as well as both major and minor actors and actresses, all of my teachers (from kindergarten through high school) as well as the first and last names of every one of my high school classmates. I could recall even tiny details of books read long ago.

But Moonwalking with Einstein goes far beyond remembering the names of acqaintances. It can help make your daily life easier, aiding you when you try to find lost items - or keep them from getting lost in the first place- and actually train you to find ways to improve your memory.

For added fun, the author includes examples of people who have amazing abilities to recall things. I wondered if at least one of them could give Vegas a run for its money or even be banned from casinos. Although I don't plan to test my abilities in Vegas, I have been practicing in casual card games, with gratifying results. The surprised looks from friends and family members was worth the cost of the book.

I'd strongly recommend you give this one a try. The techniques can even be fun for a whole family to share - and test -together. And c'mon...how can you pass up a book which explores "the art and science of remembering everything"?

A good read, but ...
By Tony R. Vaughan
After reading the first chapter of this book online, I went out and picked up a copy and read it. I was under the impression from reading that first chapter that this book would be about Joshua's year of training his memory. There is a large gap between knowing about a memory technique and how to actually use that technique. I was interested in reading about the author's efforts, problems, and his solutions to those problems. Unfortunately for me, only a small part of this book actually was about the author's actual training. He does cover a good deal of academic ground on memory. If you have a undergarduate degree in psychology, most of this material will be familiar. The author is correct when he said that this book isn't a self-help book, but there are a few pearls within its cover. My expectations for this book resulted in my being disappointed with it. That's my problem. I do consider the book to be a good read and would recommend it to friends and associates.

Does true love mean being true to yourself – even to your ...
By Natalie
Does true love mean being true to yourself – even to your darkest secrets? Do you share everything with the love of your life, including your skeletons in the closet?

This is the central concern in Just South of Biloxi, a young adult novel about coming of age in 1950’s Mississippi. While the historical setting and age of the narrator/protagonist present their unique elements, as a modern adult reader I still found much of the emotional content relevant and relatable. The story has a timeless quality that bridges geographic and chronological distance. Perhaps that is because this is a character-driven narrative, in which the reader is predominantly in the mind of Rory, a sixteen-year-old girl trying to navigate the delicate nuances of a close, committed relationship. Rory’s self doubts and insecurities are universal, recognizable to anyone who has experienced that first love. Teen readers will identify with Rory, but even someone like me who’s been through it enough times (and is still trying to figure out relationships!) will find Rory’s interpretations of human nature reaffirming.

However, this novella goes beyond universal relationships to a subject that is not common to everyone’s experience – though it is certainly part of being human. This book is about mental illness. Rory has suicidal thoughts that she eventually confides to her best-friend-turned-love-interest, Edward…and spends the rest of the time second-guessing her decision. This raises the question as to how far trust goes: is the most trusted confidante worthy of anything, even the most self-damning revelation? Like Rory, we all want to think we have that one person we could tell anything, but like Edward, we want to save the ones we love – even if that means a sort of betrayal, a cruel kindness that only 20/20 hindsight will make sense out of.

The Rory-Edward dynamic is complex, and Edward is a bit of an ambiguous figure in spite of Rory’s in-depth descriptions of someone she’s known her entire life. There is just enough doubt planted in the reader’s mind regarding his true motives to tease that good guy/bad guy duality…until the gray area clears up. These things make for a well-paced read that moves you along to a turn of events that I did not see coming, and that provokes a healthy desire for more after the turn of the last page in this volume of the series.

Intriguing Story
By Matina's Bookcase
The summary of this book intrigued me so much that I knew I had to read it and find out what was going to happen. Just South of Biloxi is a novella in a series but it can be read on its own just fine. It explores the idea's of love and of being true to one's own self as well as issues like self harm and mental disorders.

Rory is her own girl, she loves her parents but she doesn't want to be defined by them, or their relationship. She is set against being a debutant like her mother and she has sworn off love after watching her parent's relationship crumble into one of lies and sadness. Her one saving grace is Edward. Edward is handsome, kind, and ever the gentleman. He's been her best friend forever and there are sparks of something more between them.

Rory has trouble trusting people, but she puts her faith in Edward telling him her darkest secret, and sending them on a path that neither could have imagined.

The writing in this story is wonderful. It's easy to get into Rory's head, you can really begin to see and eve feel her thoughts and emotions. I like her spunk and her desire to be her own woman. I also enjoyed seeing her relationship with Edward change and grow over the story.

This novella begins to tackle a lot of heavy issues, like self harm, broken families, and mental disorders and I can't wait to see what Lauren Hammond does with everything she's built up so far in the next part of the book. It's got some really shocking twists that promise more surprises to come in future installments.

Thoroughly enjoying working through this book. Lots of info and techniques. Will be using this as a reference for many years. The CD that is enclosed helps to explain some of the less easily understood techniques by giving great examples of what the sounds are that you are trying for.

Outstanding Fingerstyle Ukulele Instruction
By Art
Fred Sokolow is a great musician and instructor. This book will take the ukulele strummer into the world of ukulele fingerpicking in a very satisfying way. The material is well graded from beginner to intermediate and advanced. The various styles are clearly presented and illustrated, and the tunes used are quite well known. For those who want to take their ukulele playing to a new level, this book will serve as a very useful tool.

variety of techniques
By Deb
Melodies are pretty basic, tabs underneath. Progressively harder ie chords for song, basic melody for song, basic melody w chords, rolls interspersed in song. Various options for playing the chords through out a song depending on time signature. ( Not different chord shapes but variations on which strings of that chord you play separately or together, in a pattern, within a bar or two. ) There's a lot in here to try. Not advanced rocket science stuff. I am intermediate self taught. I can play everything in here. It's the introduction of different ways to play the chords/rolls/styles that I liked. I can apply that to other songs I play.
