Fantastic book, did not want to put it down.

If you are looking for a book that inspires you and helps you find your inner strength and super power, this is the book you have been looking for. I have been looking for all kinds of self-improvement and self-discovery books and was fortunate to have The Little Book of Big MOJO by Keisha Gallegos come up in my search. Her no nonsense approach to finding what has been holding you back and ways to get you moving forward again is incredibly refreshing. I would highly recommend going through the exercises in this book as they were very helpful. The different chapters on what some of your Mojo killers are was very insightful and I can't wait to put what I have learned from her book into practice. This is one of those books that you sit down to read and don't want to put it down.

A fun and helpful book!

Reading this book was like spending a day with a girlfriend! I laughed out loud and had many lightbulb moments! Keisha has a rare gift of making the self help genre enjoyable and useful! Nothing about this book is boring or preachy! If you are having trouble finding your MOJO, or even if you just need a little boost in your day, read this book! You will learn a lot about yourself and have a good time doing it!

I inhaled this book! It is delightful AND impactful!!

This book is so REFRESHINGLY REAL for a self-coaching book and I highly recommend it! It’s not full of platitudes and hollow advice bellowed down at you from the mountaintops by some self congratulating guru who pretends to have it all figured out. There is a REAL woman writing this book and she knows what’s up here down on planet earth!! Hallelujah! In reading this book, I felt I had a friend and ally who deeply understands what it’s like to feel lost and completely uncertain about who you are and what you have to offer.

She distills the process of discovering your unique MOJO (Magical Original Joyful Offering) into really easily digestible chapters full of stories about her own experiences and her clients over many years of life coaching and incorporates FUN exercises that you actually want to DO! [P.S. Get ready for some impactful insights to be uncovered with them. I found Chapter 12’s look into MOJO Killer #5 “It Is What It Is” about areas in your life where you are “settling” to be particularly stirring and profound for me.]

The way she supports you along the road of self-discovery in her enchanting way also feels empowering because while imbued with humor and levity, she has the balls to acknowledge a really important thing that may be affecting you on the road to self-discovery - depression!! (Hello!?) I’m SO grateful she devotes a whole chapter to this with such honesty and compassion because, let’s face it, if you are having trouble figuring out your way in this world you have probably been ensnared in the grip of depression on some level. So, with that included, it’s like she really sees and “gets” all of what may be affecting you in this struggle to find your MOJO and has you covered!

Excellent book for Modellers

This book contains a brief history of the Me 262 and a break-down of each version of the aircraft, including those versions not actually produced. Although not as extensive as the four volume Smith & Creek books from Classic Publications, it contains something these books do not. A couple chapters for the modeller. To me, the most impressive section is "Chapter 7: Building a Collection" which details each of the significant versions of the aircraft by showing the differences of each version to a preceding version. This is the section available in the early Modellers Datafiles (by Sam Publications), but sorely missed in the later books (I wish they would bring them back). It also specifies which model kit is best for each version.
Overall,it is a great book for modellers.

You can't go wrong with the Me 262

Back in the 1980s when TV miniseries were all the rage, networks had an adage: "You can't go wrong with the Civil War." If there was a similar adage for aviation publishers surely it would be: "You can't go wrong with the Me 262." One of the strengths of the present volume is the very comprehensive bibliography of published works dealing with the type. It lists over 130 books and although not every one is devoted exclusively to the Me 262 it is still an impressive number.

The book is a standard 8-1/2" x 11", 112 page, card cover. It is the first in a new "Airframe and Miniature" series and indeed the book is divided into Airframe chapters and Miniature chapters. The Airframe chapters trace the Me 262 through the "V" prototypes, the pre-production "S" series, the production "A" series, and the "B" and "C" and unbuilt projects. It concludes with a short chapter on camouflage and markings and 8 pages of color profiles. The emphasis is squarely on appearance throughout. The chapters are supplemented by black and white photos and profile line drawings.

There are three Miniature chapters. The first deals with the available kits in all three popular scales. The second is the feature which distinguishes the book from others on the Me 262. There are 11 pages of perspective drawings that show the differences of virtually every Me 262 subtype including prototypes. The section concludes with a long chapter filled with color photos of preserved examples supplemented with contemporary technical drawings.

The book is aimed primarily at the modeler although the general enthusiast will find much to his liking. It's a decent substitute for the more expensive books on the Me 262 but it does not really offer anything new. Recommended.

A valuable, ground-breaking work

Machaelle Small Wright has played a great role in human and world development by her pioneer work in co-creative science in her famous Perelandra garden and by the writing of her many fascinating books. In this new science humans and nature work together consciously as equal partners as befitting the new Aquarian dynamic now in place on Earth.

The author explains that the natural dynamic contained in all life comprises an involution/evolution balance. Involution comprises "matter, means and action (order, organization and life vitality)" which are supplied by Nature, whereas Evolution comprises "definition, direction and purpose" which are supplied by us humans. An important piece of information given by Machaelle that I haven't previously realized is that Nature is all form, including "buildings, asphalt, shopping malls and street corners". Every object has consciousness and has something to communicate.

I did not find these concepts at all easy to comprehend, unlike another reviewer, but they form the basis of our understanding of co-creative science and thus our conscious co-operation with Nature.

In the first "difficult" chapter Nature itself defines consciousness and soul.

To be fully comprehended, this book may need to be read or studied several times. In fact it may be quite hard to understand the book at all without a prior reading of Machaelle's book "MAP" (which book I found much easier) in which she provides full directions on how to carry out this co-operation with Nature with the aim of optimizing our health (MAP = Medical Assistance Program). Alternatively, her Garden workbooks can be read (I haven't read them at least as yet, as I'm not personally interested in gardening, at least not what we traditionally regard as gardening).

The material in one of the chapters in the book was previously presented in another of Machaelle's books which I've read, probably "Behaving --". I'll never forget her description of one of her first manifestation exercises where she is directed to manifest a cubic foot of manure. She sat with her eyes closed for a couple of hours and performed the exercise. On re-opening her eyes she saw that a heap of manure had dropped down in front of her. (Luckily, she did not do the exercise in her living-room!).

The present book is not a practical, but more a theoretical, guide to co-creative science. When you want to get started you will need to read the previously mentioned Perelandra Garden Workbooks or the MAP book, according to your primary sphere of interest.

The final chapter includes a meesage freom the "Overlighting Deva of Earth" - in other words Gaia (Machaelle has high connections), in which the physical evolution of the planet is discussed, that is, the major shift that is occurring here and now. The Deva explains that the previous Piscean dynamic involved a parent/child relationship and that our present Aquarian dynamic is one where "Human and Nature come together in conscious, equal partnership".

The work of each individual with their "garden", or whatever sphere of life to which he or she applies co-creative science, will help to release energy from the core of the Earth, thus connecting the form on the surface of the Earth to "the heart and soul of the planet, which, in turn, is finally aligned with the heart and soul force of the universe". Thus, as I understand it, not only will we personally be greatly helped by our practice of co-creative science, but so will the Earth.

A final chapter gives instructions on kinesiology testing, which we will require in our work communicating with Nature.

This is a deep, absolutely valuable and ground-breaking book, though by no means easy to comprehend, amd it will require an open mind to take in these new concepts.

Imaginable (Intangible)

So I am excited to be reviewing another book for J Meyers. I have to say that I love love love book 2! It's as perfect as book 1. The twists that happen in the book were even better than the twists in book 1. These twists made me read even faster, just to figure out the outcome.

Okay so the twins have a much better handle on their powers than they did in book 1. They still had their troubles, but hey whats a good character without out some troubles/flaws? The roles in this book is somewhat reversed. Luke at the start had problems with his visions, not only the controlling them but also seeing the good and bad of each vision. He saw Sera as the strong, powerful, and more important one. This time Sera will need Luke, when she is backed up into a corner she can't exactly get out of. Because evil just loves her so much that they have to throw her into the middle of everything. With her being thrown into all this evil, Luke has a chance to grow, and boy he grow up big time! He uses all his power and strength to keep Sera away from all the evil that want her. Though when he finally got a handle on things his confidence grew to a point it made me jump with excitement. Sad part is, with the consequences of finding himself and handling his powers, Sera is still grabbed by evil.

You see, this evil will do any greedy, nasty, dirty deed in order to get a hold of Sera's powers of healing. Which sucks, because she deals with so much torture from them, when Luke doesn't get as much crap from evil as she does. However having awesome friends with powers of their own is a bonus. With them all using their abilities, there is no way evil can win right? Well I'll keep that answer to myself.

I received a copy of this book as a part of a blog tour, in exchange for my honest opinion. Everything you are about to read is my full and honest opinion about the book.

Imaginable was a highly anticipated book for me. After reading the first book in the series, Intangible, I was Hooked! And let me tell you Imaginable did NOT disappointed! I enjoyed this book a lot! But I will say unfortunately, it was a little slow starting. And as I never had the felling I wanted to give up on this book, because I knew it would speed up and get better. But I lost interested in the beginning, due to the slow start and was thinking to put it off for a while, NOT give up. But, I am SO GLAD I didn't because about around the 25% mark, I really got into it and was lost, yet again in the world J. Meyers had created!

The writing style was as good as the first book, if not better. I enjoyed the new turn of events that happened in this book. It was a twist I was not expecting, but their was other parts that were predictable. I LOVED Jonas, yet again in this book. He has this way about him that you just want to jump through the book and get lost in the world of Jonas, and Jonas ONLY! He is definitely a big part of wanting to read this series! Oh, and Fey, I LOVE her too. She is such a Strong, independent, stubborn and definitely beautiful that can kick A LOT of Supernatural Butt. She is also the voice of reason when Sera and/or Luke want to jump into something without thinking about it, which happens A LOT! I like Sera and Luke too, but it just felt like it was too much of the damsel in distress with them both ALWAYS having to be saved. I mean don't get me wrong it is understandable, with them being human in all and having limited powers to fight all the dark creatures of the Realm that is after them. I mean what can they do against five Vampires that are 200 years old? Not much, BUT it's just I like my main characters, the Kick-butt kind that takes care of their self. Not the kind that have to sit back and be saved! BUT I still did LOVE them and love this book too!

So in the second installment Imaginable, were taken back too the world that Luke and Sera's live-in and all the drama that follows. Sera and Luke are just starting to recover from the last kidnapping and attack when their world is thrown it to an uproar, yet AGAIN!

The Supernaturals are not through with Sera yet, actually their just getting started, and EVERYONE wants a piece! They'll do anything to get her! So with Sera in grave danger and Luke not knowing how to will a vision on in time to stop it, they
must rely on each other and the ones closet to them to get (through this terrible time........)
They have been thought a lot together and with their friends but this time ALL is at risk and if they can even trust their own eyes who or WHAT can they trust???

After this book picked up in speed it really went on FULL FORCE ACTION, WITH NON-STOP ADVENTURE and heartache that I felt for the character's! I really enjoyed this one better then the first. The first one was GREAT, but this one was AMAZING! '

So Overall if you enjoyed the first book in the series you will DEFINITELY enjoy the second, probably even more like me!

crazy how much I love this book!

It's crazy how much I loved this book! It's even better than the first, which I know is hard to believe but is so true! I don't know how J. Meyers did it, but she did with flying colors. Absolutely. Deeper insight into Luke and Sera's world of Gifteds, Light Elves, vampires, and Dark Elves is given, and I was happy and satisfied with the character development - I could really see the twins maturing and expanding their powers. The characters seem so real, and they talk like young adults their age do. I feel like I really know them as though they're old friends of mine.

One of my favorite characters is Jonas, and I was completely ecstatic to spend some quality time with him, lol. I don't know exactly what it is about him that I find irresistible. It isn't even the fact that he's a vampire. There is this bad boy quality about him, yet he's so much more than that kind of guy. He's complex and mysterious with many layers to him, and after reading Indomitable with some of his past explored, I was even more excited to see him make an appearance!

With romance in the air, Meyers teases the reader with a will they or won't they kind of vibe between some of the characters. I really don't want to give anything away, so I won't say between whom. Meyers gives the different relationships time to develop and flourish rather than throwing characters together into relationships right away, which I appreciate and think is clever. It gives the potential couples rooting value, and I'm definitely rooting for these characters.

Imaginable is action packed with surprising revelations and twists and turns that will hook you and keep you turning the pages until the very end. I was completely immersed in the story and the world of Luke and Sera. I love the sibling dynamic between them as not only brother and sister but as twins also. If you haven't read this series yet, I highly encourage you to do so! It takes no time at all to get into these novels. I am looking forward to the next installment of this series...it's always so difficult for me to leave their world until the next time. I can't wait to see where Meyers takes us next!

Han Solo, former Imperial officer, sat despondently at a sticky table in a dingy bar on Devaron, sipping an inferior Alderaanian ale and wishing he were alone.  Not that he minded the other denizens of the bar--horned Devish males and furry Devish females, plus a smattering of nonhumans from other worlds.  Han was used to aliens; he'd grown up with them aboard Trader's Luck, a large trading ship that wandered the spacelanes of the galaxy.  By the time he was ten, Han had been able to speak and understand half a dozen nonhuman languages.

No, it wasn't the aliens around him.  It was the alien beside him.  Han took a swig of his ale, grimaced at the sour taste, then glanced sidelong at the cause of all his troubles.  The huge, hairy being gazed back at him with concerned blue eyes.  Han sighed heavily.  If only he'd go home!  But the Wookiee--Chew-something--utterly refused to go home to Kashyyyk, despite Han's repeated urging.  The alien claimed he owed something called a "life debt" to former Imperial Lieutenant Han Solo.

Life debt .  .  .  great.  Just what I need, Han thought bitterly.  A big furry nursemaid trailing after me, giving me advice, fussing over me if I drink too much, telling me he's gonna take care of me.  Great.  Just great.

Han scowled into his ale, and the pale, watery brew reflected his countenance back at him, distorting his features until he appeared nearly as alien as the Wookiee.  What was his name?  Chew-something.  The Wookiee had told him, but Han wasn't good at pronouncing Wookiee, even though he understood it perfectly.

Besides, he didn't want to learn this particular Wookiee's name.  If he learned his name, he'd likely never get rid of his hairy shadow.

Han rubbed a hand over his face blearily, feeling several days' stubble.  Ever since he'd been kicked out of the service, he kept forgetting to shave.  When he'd been a cadet, then a junior lieutenant, then a full lieutenant, he'd been meticulous with his grooming, the way an officer and a gentleman should be .  .  .  but now .  .  .  what difference did it make?

Han raised his glass in a slightly unsteady hand and gulped the sour ale.  He put the empty tankard down, and glanced around the bar for the server.  Need another drink.  One more, and I'll feel much better.  Just one more .  .  .

The Wookiee moaned quietly.  Han's scowl deepened.  "Keep your opinions to yourself, hairball," he snarled.  "I'll know when I've had enough.  Th' las' thing I need is a Wookiee playin' nursemaid for me."

The Wookiee--Chewbacca, that was it--growled softly, his blue eyes shadowed with concern.  Han's lip curled.  "I'm perfectly capable of lookin' after myself, and don't you forget it.  Just 'cause I saved your furry butt from being vaporized doesn't mean you owe me a thing.  I tol' you before--I owed a Wookiee, long ago.  Owed her my life, coupla times over.  So I saved you, 'cause I owed her."

Chewbacca made a sound halfway between a moan and a snarl.  Han shook his head.  "No, that means you don't owe me a thing, don't you get it?  I owed her, but I couldn't repay her.  So I helped you out, which makes us even .  .  .  square.  So will you please take those credits I gave you, and go back to Kashyyyk?  You ain't doin' me any favors staying here, hairball.  I need you like I need a blaster burn on my butt."

Affronted, Chewbacca drew himself up to his full Wookiee height.  He growled low in his throat.

"Yeah, I know I tossed away my career and my livin' that day on Coruscant when I stopped Commander Nyklas from shootin' you.  I hate slavery, and watchin' Nyklas use a force whip ain't a particularly appetizing sight.  I know Wookiees, you see.  When I was growin' up, a Wookiee was my best friend.  I knew you were gonna turn on Nyklas before you did it--just like I knew Nyklas would go for his blaster.  I couldn't just stand there and watch him blast you.  But don't go tryin' to make me out as some kinda hero, Chewie.  I don't need a partner, and I don't want a friend.  My name says it all, pal.  Solo."

Han jerked a thumb at his chest.  "Solo.  In my language, that means me, alone, by myself.  Get it?  That's the way it is, and that's the way I like it.  So .  .  .  no offense, Chewie, but why don't you just scram.  As in, go away.  Permanently."

Chewie stared at Han for a long moment, then he snorted disdainfully, turned, and strode out of the bar.

Han wondered disinterestedly if he'd actually managed to convince the big hairy oaf to leave for good.  If he had, that was reason for celebration.  For another drink .  .  .

As he glanced around the bar, he saw that over in the corner several patrons were gathering around a table.  A sabacc game was forming.  Han wondered whether he ought to try to get in on it.  Mentally he reviewed the contents of his credit pouch, and decided that might not be a bad idea.  He usually had very good luck at sabacc, and every credit counted, these days.

These days .  .  .

Han sighed.  How long had it been since that fateful day when he'd been sent to assist Commander Nyklas with the crew of Wookiee laborers assigned to complete a new wing on the Imperial Hall of Heroes?  He counted, grimacing as he realized that he'd lost days on end in there .  .  .  days probably spent in a dark haze of ale and bitter recrimination.  In two days it would be two months.

Han's mouth tightened and he ran an unsteady hand through his unruly brown hair.  For the past five years he'd kept it cut short in approved military fashion, but now it was growing out, getting almost shaggy.  He had a sudden, sharp mental image of himself as he'd been then--immaculately groomed, insignia polished, boots shining--and glanced down at himself.

What a contrast between then and now.  He was wearing a stained, grayish shirt that had once been white, a stained, gray neo-leather jacket he'd purchased secondhand, and dark blue military-style trousers with his Corellian bloodstripe running down the outside seam.  Only the boots were the same.  They were custom-fitted when each cadet was commissioned, so the Empire hadn't wanted them back.  Han had been commissioned just a little over eight months ago, and no junior lieutenant had ever been prouder of his rank--or of those shining boots.

The boots were scuffed now, and worn.  Han's lip curled as he regarded them.  Scuffed and worn by life, all the spit and polish gone .  .  .  that about described him these days, too.

In a moment of painful honesty, Han admitted that he probably wouldn't have been able to stay in the Imperial Navy even if he hadn't gotten himself cashiered for rescuing and freeing Chewbacca.  He'd started his career with high hopes, but disillusionment had quickly set in.  The prejudice against nonhumans had been hard to take for someone raised the way Han had been, but he'd bitten his tongue and remained silent.  But the endless, silly bureaucratic regs, the blind stupidityof so many of the officers--Han had already begun to wonder how long he'd be able to take it.

But he'd never figured on a dishonorable discharge, loss of pension and back pay, and--worst of all--being blacklisted as a pilot.  They hadn't taken his license, but Han had quickly discovered that no legitimate company would hire him.  He'd tramped the permacrete of Coruscant for weeks, in between alcoholic binges, looking for work--and found all respectable doors closed to him.

Then, one night, as he'd tavern-hopped in a section of the planet-wide city near the alien ghetto, a huge, furred shadow had flowed out of the deeper shadows of an alley and confronted Han.

For long moments Han's ale-fogged brain hadn't even recognized the Wookiee as the one he'd saved.  It was only when Chewbacca began speaking, thanking Han for saving his life and freeing him from slavery, that Han had realized who he was.  Chewie had been quite direct--his people didn't mince words.  He, Chewbacca, had sworn a life debt to Han Solo.  Where Han went, from that day forward, he would go, too.

And he had.

Awesome book and trilogy!

This Han Solo trilogy is very well written. The writers writing style is very dense and the chapters are long which makes this short book a very long read BUT IT IS OUTSTANDING! If you like Star Wars, and like Han Solo then this book and trilogy is for you. It answers all questions about the space smuggler that you might have had after seeing the original trilogy in a very interesting way. It's part of the "old cannon" which means that the book and entire trilogy is now a "legend" but STILL A FASCINATING READ! A great gift to give any Star Wars fan this holiday season!

The Solo Trilogy was the first none-novelization trilogy I read, and a major step in my becoming a fan of the Star Wars Books.

This chapter tells how Han and Chewie met, and why they teamed up. Explains why Han became a smuggler and how he and Chewie came to work for Jabba. Also how Han and Lando met, and shows the first time Han saw the Falcon - it was love at first sight.

This brings the audience into the minds of Hutt Rulers and the Empire's Moffs and Generals. Intense social warfare is waged between Hutt Clans. Later there is a major space battle between the smugglers and the empire. The very end includes a brief appearance by Darth Vader.

Millions of words have been written about the Cuban Revolution, which, to both its supporters and detractors, is almost universally understood as being won by a small band of guerillas. In this unique and stimulating book, Stephen Cushion turns the conventional wisdom on its head, and argues that the Cuban working class played a much more decisive role in the Revolution’s outcome than previously understood. Although the working class was well-organized in the 1950s, it is believed to have been too influenced by corrupt trade union leaders, the Partido Socialist Popular, and a tradition of making primarily economic demands to have offered much support to the guerillas. Cushion contends that the opposite is true, and that significant portions of the Cuban working class launched an underground movement in tandem with the guerillas operating in the mountains.

Developed during five research trips to Cuba under the auspices of the Institute of Cuban History in Havana, this book analyzes a wealth of leaflets, pamphlets, clandestine newspapers, and other agitational material from the 1950s that has never before been systematically examined, along with many interviews with participants themselves. Cushion uncovers widespread militant activity, from illegal strikes to sabotage to armed conflict with the state, all of which culminated in two revolutionary workers’ congresses and the largest general strike in Cuban history. He argues that these efforts helped clinch the victory of the revolution, and thus presents a fresh and provocative take on the place of the working class in Cuban history.
